🪛 Installation

  1. Insert the Nayoki base into the utility plate of your Cookie G35
  2. Lock the base using the helmet's original release system.
  3. For Insta360: Attach your camera to the interface using the supplied 1/4-20 screw
  4. For DJI Osmo Action 6: Mount the Osmo Quick Release Bidirectional Mounting Bracket (supplied with the camera) onto the interface — the mounting screw passes through the pre-drilled hole on the DJI mount
  5. Choose your capture angle from the available positions
  6. Tighten the rosette screw to permanently fix the angle
  7. Test the edit in a controlled environment before the actual jumps.

🧠 Practical notes

The rosette system allows you to adjust the capture angle **and lock it in place with the same screw**. Once tightened, the angle is fixed: no drift during the jump, no surprises when reviewing the footage. To adjust, simply loosen, reposition, and tighten.

Regarding the Insta360 X5 model: The Insta360 X5's charging port is located underneath the camera and is inaccessible once the interface is mounted. To ensure maximum rigidity and sturdiness, the interface base is designed without any openings. Using an external battery charger is highly recommended to recharge the camera without having to remove it from the mount and avoid repeated handling. I use and recommend it. this charger on a daily basis.

Regarding the DJI Osmo Action 6 model: The interface uses the Osmo quick-release, two-way mounting bracket supplied originally with the DJI camera. To maintain minimal bulk and maximum rigidity, The DJI mount's quick-release function is disabled. In this configuration: the Nayoki system's mounting screw passes through the DJI mount's mounting hole, locking it in place. This is a deliberate choice that prioritizes strength and compactness—release in case of snagging remains ensured by the G35 headset's native release mechanism.

🎯 Material selection

  • PETG (Premium): Increased resistance to shocks and temperature variations, ideal for most uses
  • PETG-Carbon (Expert): Maximum rigidity and resistance, professional matte black finish, recommended for heavy-duty use

🪂 Compliance and safety

The geometry of the Roller Mount Nayoki G35 Skydive was designed in accordance with the requirements of the French Parachuting Federation : no sharp angles, no catching edges, no roughness likely to catch a suspension line when opening.

The release system used is the original one from the Cookie G35 — that is the helmet manufacturer who designed and validated this release mechanism. No modifications, no tinkering, no compromise to the integrity of your equipment.

The assembly and use of this support remain the responsibility of the user and the technical manager of their jump center.

🧩 Modularity and scalability

There base is universal, that's the’camera interface which is specific to your model.

Are you changing your camera? No need to buy a whole new mount: simply order the’interface only matching your new camera in the shop. Are you hesitating between Insta360 and DJI? Buy both interfaces and switch between them depending on your recording needs.

Available interface templates:

  • Insta360 X3

🔒 Why aren't STL files for sale?

Legitimate question, honest answer: this product required a lot of R&D, prototyping, and real-world testing. Offering it as an STL file is tantamount to offering it up for immediate copying. Therefore only as a finished product, Made in France, checked one by one before shipment.
