The side plates are designed to be used with the original screws of the Cookie G35.

⚙ 3D Printing Settings

  • Recommended material: PLA+ (PETG possible depending on your preferences)
  • Buse: 0.4 mm
  • Layer height: 0.08 mm
  • Filling: 15 %
  • Walls: 1.2 mm (3 lines)
  • Supports: No support is necessary, but it's recommended for a better finish. If you wish to add supports for a better internal finish, use the following settings for easier removal (Cura):
    • tree-like supports,
    • threshold 40°,
    • XY distance 0.35 mm,
    • Z 0.20 mm,
    • branches 2 mm,
    • 5 mm spacing,
    • 2-layer interface.

🪛 Assembly

  1. Print the desired version (Standard or Ergonomic) with the above settings.
  2. Carefully remove the original side plates from your Cookie G35 helmet.
  3. Position the new side plates in the designated location on the helmet.
  4. Reuse the original screws to fix them securely.
  5. Check the fit and proper opening of the helmet before use in flight.

🧠 Practical notes

The Ergonomic version improves grip when opening the helmet, especially with gloves.
The Standard Version remains ideal if you want a discreet design that is quick to print and easy to visually modify.
